Crab Salad: My Favorite Appetizer This variety of Crab Salad is a great tasting and easy to make appetizer. You will need a pack of Imitation Crab Meat, two eggs, and a small onion (or a half of a medium-sized one). Boil the eggs. Finely chop onion, place it in a colander, and pour some boiling water over it - this will soften the sharp taste of fresh onion, plus your guests will not have "onion breath" after eating the salad. Cut the imitation crab meat into small pieces, much smaller than what you usually see in a traditional crab salad. Cut the eggs as well, also very finely. Mix all the ingredients and dress your salad with mayo. The salad can be served in a bowl; sticking some parsley or green onion in the middle will make a nice decoration. You can also serve crackers on the side, so that people can dip crackers into the salad. You can ease the task for them by serving the salad on crackers - place about a teaspoon-full on each. These bite-size morsels seem to be very popular. Enjoy!
